These rates are indicative and correspond to an average, they may indeed vary according to the procedures performed, the type of anesthesia and the type of hospitalization.

Even if you have a mutual insurance company, it will not participate, because these acts are out of the nomenclature.

  • Botox: €350 inc. VAT for 50 units (usually sufficient for frown lines and crow's feet) and €40 for each additional 10 U.

TARIFFS WHEN THE ACTS ARE TAKEN CARE OF BY THE SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM

The same anomalies may be covered by Social Security if there is visual impairment or if there is a congenital (present at birth) or acquired underlying pathology. Tumours, malpositions, obstruction of the tear ducts, reconstruction of cavities etc... - are also partially treated.

In these cases, clinic fees are reimbursed.

Fees are only partially reimbursed by the French social security system, which only takes account of its tariffs (frozen for 35 years); a supplement is required and may be covered by your mutual insurance company, depending on the type of contract you have taken out.

  • Consultation with a view to surgery: €85 to €120 reimbursed on the basis of €25 if you come on your own or €60 if you are referred by your GP, ophthalmologist or other treating specialist
  • Additional fees for surgery depend on the complexity and duration of the operation, and range from €120 to €2,800.
